I spend a lot of time on the road, traveling form job site to job site, so I decided to pick up a dash cam (2.7″ HD 1080P Car DVR Dash Cam Vehicle Camera Video Recorder Night Version G-sensor).  When you spend this much time on the road, it couldn’t hurt to have a record of your travels.  I picked up this particular unit at a local sporting goods store, for about $40.  I had to add a memory card, for another $40. The unit was fairly simple to install, and it’s a good thing to seeing that the directions were not very good. It didn’t take long to get things up and running, and I really like the way it works.  However, I have already noticed that it is almost impossible to get a full charge on the battery, and the life is only a few minutes.
