Uber

Well, I have been putting off for some time now, but today was the day.  Today was the day that I decided to make a change, and download the Uber app.  This was the first time that I have downloaded/used an app like this, so I was a little hesitant.  However, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.  The app was free to download, and only took a few seconds.  The set up was just as easy.  I entered in a little bit of information, and a payment method and I was ready to go.

I didn’t need to go far, and I didn’t want to take up a driver’s time for a short trip.  Still, I thought I would give it a try.  I turned on the app, and requested a ride.  Within minutes there was a car that came right to where I was standing.  I didn’t have to give a landmark or anything.  I apologized to the drive for only needing a short trip, and he told me not to worry about it.  He didn’t seem to mind at all.  As we reached the destination, I asked if I needed to do anything else.  He said no, and told me to have a nice day.

This experience couldn’t have been any easier, and the driver couldn’t have been any nicer.  Great tool that everyone should have.  There really is no excuse not to.
