Nashville Zoo
The weather has been cooling down and my kids have been off from school, so we decided to take a day and visit the Nashville Zoo. The hope was that with it being out of season that there would be less of a crowd, and we were right. It was still busy, but not nearly as busy as it was in the summer. We were able to walk around, and check out all of the exhibits. We took our time and really made a day of it, we even brought a picnic and ate our lunch in a field. It was very fun, and my kids really loved it.
There was a little bit of construction going on, but I guess that can be expected on the off season. We have annual passes, so there wasn’t any additional costs. We had a great time, and they are always very friendly.

The coolest part of this zoo is the beer festival they host each year. I go every year. Check it out if you enjoy a tasty micro brew.

I love the bamboo that surrounds the walkways at the Nashville Zoo. It is a more relaxing experience than most zoos I have been to.

The Nashville zoo is the coolest zoo by far. I have been several and it is one of the best. It is a very relaxing and shaded place.
